This architectural masterpiece is a great example of how far a little creativity can go. It obviously would not be a cookie-cutter home in the suburbs, so some people might see it as being ‘weird’ or perhaps troublesome. Also, some people simply don’t want to do different things or be labeled as being different.
But after all if you’re looking to reduce the cost of your prefab and create a dream home, shipping containers might be at least a useful construction material.

Makes sense when you realize that a great deal of our products are manufactured overseas (AND, UNFORTUNATELY, NOt ENOUGH IS GOING BACK…) Bob Villa used to have a video on the advantage of these homes on his website. I ahve not looked in awhile to see if it is still there.
